In a far-away land, they have been waiting… to be seen, to be heard, to be embraced… again.
Seemingly, a lot has forgotten them…
Even though the streets of Roxas District, Tomas Morato, Kamuning, and Timog were named after them…
They want to sing again, dance again, stroll again…
Young as they were, they symbolized the braveness and heroism for the very, very young…
Most especially, to the SCOUTS.
And now, they are ETERNITY, as they join an ETHEREAL GROUP of “68”…
In an imagination…
In a dream…
In a tribute…
THEY ARE NOW “88” (68 plus 20 equals 88).
And they will guide the young anew,
become their personal angels…
take care of the old… heal them… touch them.
THEY ARE MY FRIENDS, AND YOURS, TOO.
THEY ARE YOUR CHILDREN-
FOREVER.
