It was released in 1999 and has won a lot of awards till now, including the nomination in Academy Award for Best Original Song in 1999, and a Grammy Award for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals in 2000. Even though Celine Dion and Andrea Bocelli first recorded this songs in English and Italian separately, their duet version is mostly praised throughout the world. This video below features one of the incredible rendition of this song which has been presented to us by David Archuleta and Nathan Pacheco.

You might know David Archuleta from his participation in American Idol 2007. Even though he was one of the nation’s favorite, he lost in the finale and couldn’t win the title. He hadn’t been very active since. Yet, in 2015, he decided to record this outstanding rendition of “The Prayer” with Nathan and bring it out to the world.
