People will always be PEOPLE.
They are not angels, or super human beings. But they are people, who plunges, commit mistakes, gets angry, and long for something they’ve always desired for…
They shout, they cry, they laugh, they criticize…
Because they’re not PERFECT.
When you see people achieve greater things, stand out in the midst of persecutions and wrong impressions, rise-up above the challenges- you know, yes, you know.
That people could accomplish things beyond the expectations. To awe, to cherish, to amaze.
In one evening of September 27, 2014, Saturday (which was also the Feast Day of St. Vincent de Paul) – another great thing happened. And it involved a group of performing artists.
THE PHILIPPINE STAGERS FOUNDATION, TOGETHER WITH THEIR “MAN”, MR. VINCE TANADA, GOT A TEN-MINUTE STANDING OVATION FROM THE PARISHIONERS OF ST. VINCENT SEMINARY.
It happened at the Curtain Call of the play San Vicente, Isang Sarsuwela. No one ever imagined it would happen. It was really unexpected.
The audience was conservative, religious, old-fashioned. The play was unconventional though it dealt with the life of a Saint. But still, the audience got enthralled. And it was indeed, surprising. That a ten-minute standing ovation would do much justice to the hard work and tasking efforts of the Stagers.
One blogger said to himself: “I bow to them.”
