People who loves beauty are very well also into the arts. And most of them becomes the patrons of the ARTS. They are selective, fragile, careful and delicate. They must be valued, because they are very special people. They do not only contribute a great deal for the existence of the arts, but also mobilize other people to do the same and beautify the world and its existence.
One woman does the same, too. Her name is- Mrs. Prescy Valenzuela-Yulo. She could be a businesswoman by profession, but her dedication to preserve and enhance beauty and her support to the field of arts is impeccable. Just recently, she bought one great painting by actress Maria Isabel Lopez entitled Textures and Shapes VII-a mixed media mosaic of natural stones, glass and smalti. The said painting was last exhibited at the Beauty & Arts 3 event of Maria Isabel Lopez. A noted art collector herself, Mrs. Yulo also never failed to support the Film Artist Group, a group of painter-artists-actors that promotes Arts & Culture in the Philippines.
That’s why Maria Isabel’s so thankful to Mrs. Yulo. She’s always there to lend a hand to support the Arts, although she’s known more as a beauty expert.
“Beauty and Arts are very much connected”, Mrs. Yulo once said to a blogger. “They simply co-exist. When we admire beauty, we also admire the Arts.”
How does it feel to be called a Patroness of the Arts?
“I feel flattered”, Mrs. Yulo answered. “But I simply want to give something because that’s what makes me happy.”
Mrs. Yulo’s beauty clinic- Skin Rejuve- now has six branches all over Metro Manila. And they will soon open new branches in Mindanao and the Visayas. It’s becoming the talk-of-the-town nowadays because of its efficiency in beauty services, without any surgical procedures.
“It was the year 2011 when me and my husband decided to put up with an Aesthetic beauty clinic”, Mrs. Yulo recalled. “It all started with one clinic which was located in Kamias Road. Now, in a matter of three years, we grew-up. We upgraded and added-up. We now have six branches and opening more branches soon.”
People who became patrons of the arts are in for greater things in life. Because they contribute so much to make life more meaningful and profound, and exciting, too. Life could be beautiful amidst REALITY. If we only know how to deeply value ARTS & BEAUTY.
Just like Mrs. Prescy Valenzuela-Yulo.
