Ang sarap talagang maging kaibigan ni Maria Isabel Lopez, Maribel Lopez for everybody!

Hindi siya nag-iinarte, hindi nang-iisnab ng mga imbitasyon at lalong hindi nang-iismol ng mga tao. Hindi tulad ng ibang mga supladitang aktres diyan na napuri lang minsan na magaling na aktres ay akala mo na kung sino kapag makikita mo sa mga birthday parties at iba pang events. Si Maribel, always friendly, jolly and with a very positive attitude in life. Kaya ang sarap-sarap niyang maging kaibigan. Hindi siya nag-iisip ng masama sa kapwa niya.

Prangka ring tao si Mama Maribel, hindi ka niya paiikut-ikutin pa. Yan dn ang isang bagay na hinangaan ng blogger na ito sa aktres na ito. But she will share with you her knowlege and wisdom- and she will guide you as a friend! That’s my Mama Maribel!

Kaya naman nang maimbitahan namin formally si Mama Maribel na dumalo sa World Premiere night ng pelikulang “Biktima”, tuwang-tuwa kami sa pagsang-ayon niya. Dadalo siya, kasama ang anak na si Maria Isabella Lopez Yokohama (Survivor 2011 2nd grand prize winner) para sumuporta sa pelikulang “Biktima”.

Sino-sino ba ang magtutulungan sa industriyang ito kundi ang mga taong kaparte rin nito? Kasama si Maribel sa pelikulang “Captive” (na currently showing pa rin) at ito’y sa direksyon ni Brillante ‘Dante’ Mendoza, pero hindi naging dahilan iyon para isnabin niya ang “Biktima”, na gawa naman ng Hollywood-based filmaker na si RD Alba.

Ang blogger na ito ang publicist ni direk RD, kaya naman naatasan niya kaming mag-invite ng ilang piling celebrities to grace the World Premiere Night of “Biktima” na idadaos sa September 17, ganap na 7 P.M. sa SM Megamall Cinema 10.

At isa na nga s Maribel sa nag-confirm na dadalo sa said event! How warm & nice of her. Tiyak niyan, magtsitsikahan sila nina Angel Aquino at Sunshine Cruz na pawang mga kasama sa movie at mga kaibigan ni Maribel. Knowing Mama Maribel na very lively ang personality, mas lalo siyang magdagdag ng ningning at kislap ang nasabing event. Kilala si Mama Maribel bilang “Queen of Red Carpet preiere Nights”, eversince nung gummawa siya ng eksena sa red carpet opening night sa Cannes Film Festival a couple of years back dahil ipinalabas doon ang award-winning movie nila ni direk Brillante na “Kinatay”.

“I am always happy to support young & new film artists”, wika ni Mama Maribel. “Paborito rin kasi nila akong kunin sa mga pelikula nila. And this Hollywood-bred filmaker na si direk RD, mukhang malayo ang mararating niya.”

Very happy naman si direk RD nang malaman niyang dadalo si Mama Maribel sa World Premiere ng movie niya. And he’s very happy to meet her in person soon.

Kapana-panabik ang twist and turns ng dramatic thriller na Biktima     

Pagsamahin mo ang dalawa sa magagaling na artista ng kontemporaryong sinema at ang isang bago ngunit mapusok na direktor, RD Alba sa isang pelikula at makakaasa kang kaabang-abang ang magiging resulta nito.

Sa dramatic thriller na Biktima na ipalalabas sa September 19, tunay na makapigil-hininga ang mga kaganapan. Ang Biktima ay ginawa sa matulain pero mapananib na probinsya ng Bohol kung saan din nagmula sa totoong buhay ang lead actor na si Cesar (Montano). Napapanahon ang tema ng pelikula tungkol sa isang babaeng TV reporter (ginagampanan ni Angel Aquino) na sa pagnanais na magtagumpay sa kanyang propesyon ay sumuong sa isang TV news coverage sa isla ng Kamandao sa Bohol.

Sa gitna ng pag-atake ng mga rebelde, naglahong parang bula si Alice de la Cruz (Angel) at pinaniwalaang namatay sa naturang pagsalakay ng mga grupong kontra sa gobyerno.

Ang asawa ni Alice na si Mark (Cesar) ay makakahanap ng bagong pag-ibig sa katauhan ng kaibigang matalik ni Alice na si Sandra (Mercedes Cabral). Pagkatapos ng anim na buwan ay matatagpuan si Alice ngunit hindi na siay tulad ng dati.

Ang kalupitan at trauma na dinanas niya sa piling ng mga taong humalay sa kanya ay magiging dahilan upang lalong maging masalimuot ang buhay ng mag-asawang sinubok ng mga pangyayaring wala na sa kanilang kontrol.

Reunion nina Cesar at Direk RD (Alba) ang Biktima. Nagkasama na sila sa pelikulang Panaghoy sa Suba noong 2004 na nanalo ng maraming awards pero associate producer si RD saPanaghoy samantalang direktor at aktor naman si Cesar sa naturang palabas. Ngunit ngayon sa Biktima, si RD na ang direktor ni Cesar. “Si Direk RD alam niya ‘yung ginagawa niya. He is sure about his vision for the movie and masarap siyang katrabaho,” ani Cesar tungkol kay Direk RD na first time magdidirek ng isang full-length feature film.  Distributed by Star Cinema, Production.

Natutuwa rin si Direk Rd sa pagkakataong makatrabahong muli si Cesar. “Cesar has always been a generous actor, a creative worker, a true-blue artist,” papuri ni Direk RD. Ayon sa kanya, hindi rin matatawaran ang husay na ipinamalas ni Angel Aquino sa pelikula. “She is amazing in this movie,” ani Direk RD. “She has a difficult part and she really gave it her all.”

Hindi ganuon karami ang mga pelikulang may temang psychological thriller na ginagawa sa kasalukuyan kaya hindi dapat palampasin angBiktima. Kasam rin sa cast si Sunshine Cruz na real-life wife ni Cesar, ang direktor-aktor na si Ricky Davao at ang British-born & American-bred actor na si Philip Anthony.

SUNSHINE CRUZ IS CESAR MONTANO’S “SUNSHINE”

I saw her climbing down the stairs… Smiling, so sweetly. Her beauty never faded. Her youthful looks shone so bright.

She’s Sunshine Cruz, the actress-wife of Cesar Montano.

“Ang sarap-sarap niyang kausap!”, tili ng movie writer na si Alex Datu.

“Enjoy na enjoy akong kausap siya, sa true”, sey naman ng isa pang female writer.

Si Sunshine ang nagsilbing “sunshine” sa naganap na mini-prescon kamakailan lamang sa pag-aari nilang mag-asawang Bellissimo restaurant sa may 135 Sct. Rallos, Q.C. This is in line with the new film “Biktima” na iri-release ng Star Cinema.

Sunshine was so busy attending to the food na sine-serve sa mga movie press that afternoon. But her charm and feminine ways did capture the hearts of the many press people there. Maski ba nasa background lang siya that afternoon.

May pivotal role si Sunshine sa pelikulang “Biktima” (showing September 19). Mala-’Charo Santos’ ang role niya dito. Isang lady executive ng isang TV network na siyang mag-a-assign kay Angel Aquino na mag-cover ng kidnappings and massacres sa isang isla called Kamandao.

“I had two shooting days in the movie”, Sunshine told this blogger. “May highlights din naman ako sa film. I gave my support on this film kasi siyempre, si Cesar ang bida rito.”

Sunshine and Cesar now have three kids, the eldest is 10 years old. And Sunshine is really supervising her kids to the max.

“I am the strict type”, sabi pa ni Sunshine. “And Cesar is the spoiling & sweet dad to them.”

And Sunshine smiled… so graciously.

This actress has never changed. Her love for Cesar Montano was the rainbow of their existence….

Please don’t take-away Cesar’s Sunshine…

SYNOPSIS OF HIS LATEST FILM- “BIKTIMA”:

Alice de la Cruz (Angel Aquino) is a working mother and journalist for local channel KVTV headed by Jane (Sunshine Cruz). She sets off to the island of Kamandao for a special assignment, regardless what her husband Mark (Cesar Montano) has told her about it being dangerous.

Once on the island, the rebels ambush and kill all the reporters. Hearing the news of the tragic event, Mark is devastated. Alice is survived by one son, Buboy and her husband Mark who wants to move on with his life, he can not change the past. Only a miracle would bring back Alice.

Sandra (Mercedes Cabral) moves to town. She visits Mark and they start to rekindle their past. They seem happy together but little do they know what will come their way to change that.

Six months later, a body is found in a rural area. After a detective (Ricky Davao) investigates the case, the body was identified as Alice de la Cruz, she is found alive. Not having any memory of what happened to her , Alice only remembers up to the part where she was ambushed.

When Mark learns of this, he does not know whether to feel happy or sad since he has moved on with his life. But in this scenario, it would be best to come back to Alice for the sake of their son, Buboy. Mark and Alice reunite.

As days go by, Alice begins to remember pieces of what really happened her. Slowly, her psychological reactions to the past reflect her present actions. She does things that she would not normally do. Will everyone be a victim of Alice’s actions? Topping it off, Alice learns about Sandra’s relationship with Mark. How will everyone deal with this? Who is really the victim?
