A handsome chameleon, that must be Lance Raymundo…

 

His personality changes, his look varies, his appearance transforms…

 

A reinvention. A versatile man. Shifting from many different types of characters and selves- yes, that’s Lance Raymundo.

 

Over breakfast of chocolates, hot cocoa, garlic fried rice and grilled bangus fish- Lance took an hour-off from his hectic schedules to be with this blogger again. The morning sun is incredibly hot and penetrating- just the same way one could feel towards Lance by looking and gazing at his new rugged looks. Bearded, tanned, long-haired.

 

But sincerity was utmost felt. His eyes could kill.

 

Here’s our Q & A (Question & Answer) interview with Lance Raymundo:

 

SSSIP:

How’s your rapport with the people of “Alaala Ng Tag-Ulan”, the latest film you’re currently shooting, Lance? 

 

LANCE:

Okay! It was so nice, Rob. It’s super-fun! Kasundo ko lahat ng mga artistang kasama ko doon sa film. I got no problems with them, they are all so good. With direk Ato Bautista, our director in the film, I can say now that he’s quite strict- but strict in a very pleasant way. Outside the camera, when we’re not on take, puro lokohan kami. We could joke around with him, laugh with him and treat him just as an odinary guy. But once the camera started rolling, automatic, the mood could change. Our respect to our director could be felt then to the maximum. He could illicit that kind of feeling that he’s still our director, kaya ang ganda ng flow ng work naming lahat. It’s really a pleasant experience for me.

 

SSSIP:

Can you barely describe to us now your character in the said film?

 

LANCE:

My character is due to develop. It’s like you’ll get to know my character in the said film gradually up to the last minute. That’s how awesome my character is in the film. Akihiro Blanco’s character in the said film looks up to me and adores me because I am the rugged type of a man there.

 

SSSIP:

There are ‘hot whispers’ circulating around that you’ll do some nudity and steamy lovescenes here with Mocha Uson. If ever, are you willing to show-off your butt in this film?

 

LANCE:

I guess the film is more of a family drama than ‘a sexual awakening type of film’. So I don’t think it’s going to be a HOT film as what other people are thinking. Those hot whispers are simply hot whispers, Rob. But if ever, wala namang kaso sa akin if I’ll show-off my butt. Basta ba babae ang kaeksena ko at hindi GAY. Haha. Especially if it’s Mocha, kahit na siguro hindi pa ako bayaran ng talent fee ko, just to have a hot scene with her is okay.

 

SSSIP:

Nadagdagan na ngayon ang sports mo, papa Lance. Your now into Judo fighting na rin. We heard that this kind of sports entails a lot of physical exertion and mind-set. What can you say about judo, papa Lance?

 

LANCE:

I’m lucky to have a background in boxing, because it helped me a lot in my judo training now. Just like boxing, judo requires discipline, accuracy, precision. It’s more about making your enemy fall-off, and throwing! You see, Rob, what I learned in sports is, you can do anything under the sun basta ba ginusto mo. People can make wonders. People can achieve the impossible. Basta nasa puso mo ang ginagawa mo, basta determined ka, you won’t FAIL. It’s like conquering your fears. Lahat ng bagay dito sa mundo ay magagawa mo basta malinis ang puso mo.

Ruggedly handsome Lance Raymundo recorded a new song last week together with a band called Vintage Boys.

“They got me as the featured artist with their new song”, Lance told this blogger. “”Actually, Vintage Boys is a band, and I did all the vocals of their new song.”

We learned from Lance that the song they recorded was very catchy- with all the groove electronics and rhythms- a total ‘dance music’.

“We’ll also be doing a musical video of that song soon”, Lance continued saying. “And I am glad to support this new band. They were all so thankful to me.”

Meanwhile, actress Iza Calzado accidentally saw Lance in one athletics gym. And the actress was so amazed with Lance’s new rugged look

“She liked it”, Lance again said to this writer. “She called it ‘scruffy look’. And she told me I’ll get more offers with this new look that I got.”

Lance is also happy with the good outcome of sales of CESA C-MEN Beachwear, in which he is the image model together with Miss Sarah Petersen, a Danish model.

“Their sales is doing okay and so I heard”, Lance further stressed. “They will branch-out soon in the malls by the end of the year. And they plan to organize a grand launching of C-MEN beachwear soon.”

Currently, Lance is finishing the indie film “Alaala Ng Tag-Ulan”. And he enjoyed bonding with all the people involved in this movie.

“It’s super fun!”, Lance said in the end. “All my co-actors were nice to me, including my director. It’s really apleasant experience working with all of them.”

Tulad ng pagpapakilig na ginawa mo sa madla nu’ng gawin mo ang mga pelikulang “Fidel” at “Paglilitis Kay Andres Bonifacio”.
Kung saan, nakita ng lahat ang angking kagalingan mo sa pagganap…

Isa pa nga, Papa Lance…
Dahil sa bawat pelikulang gawin mo, nag-iiba ang karakter mo.
At ngayon, may isa pang bago.
Ngayon, isang “totally-rugged” and “man-of-the-world” look na ang nakikita namin.
Malayong-malayo duon sa “angelic and wholesome” Lance.
May balbas ka na ngayon, moreno na ang balat at kay tagal mo na ring hindi pinapagupitan ang iyong buhok…

Dahil may bago kang pelikula ngayon na akmang-akma sa “new look” mo.
Ito ang pelikulang “Alaala Ng Tag-ulan” na ididirehe ni Ato Bautista. Kasama mo pa sina Papa Mon Confiado, Mocha at Akihiro Blanco.
At balita namin, magkakaroon ka ng mga grabeng “sex scenes” dito kay Mocha, ha…

The most passionate feeling of being a real friend- that, I felt to Fanny TF Serrano. He did one thing to me that no one else did. He showed me the beauty of life, the fabulous people of Cabanatuan City, the sincerest friendship and the never-ending understanding…

And how can I forget Maria Isabel Lopez? When I was so new as a writer, she did something so great to me already, I just hope she will remember. When my dad got sick, she was the only female celebrity who visited him at the hospital and gave words of encouragement to my dad...

And there’s Mr. Boy Abunda, Lance Raymundo, Jobert Sucaldito, Mon Confiado, Snooky Serna, Yul Servo, Melissa Mendez, Miss Amalia Fuentes,… plus others more (which I preferred not to mention). I will always cherish them in my heart…

But somehow, time passes us by. Somehow, things change…

Yes, some of them I no longer see, but a few ones I still see and still let me feel “they care”…

with hidden rainbows of hope and love.

I saw him standing there.

 

 I know, I will be okey.

 

When Saturdays come, I do miss them.

Cesa Beachwear is now expanding. They’ve recently launched on the market their line of men’s beachwear which they called ‘C-Men’.

“During our free launch at the World Trade Center, nagulat ako dahil ang daming nagpapagawa at umo-oder ng C-MEN brand namin“, Hanna said. “It really surprised us. We started online, but now, our market is really expanding na.”

 

CESA means “Yes, Yes, I Can!” in French. It is a very positive statement. That’s why it only attracts positivity,too.

 

“I want to thank my partner, Miss Chaley Tiu for all these”, Hanna continued saying. “Chaley is the owner of CESA Beachwear and she collaborated with me to make this dream a reality. It’s her brand. And now, we’re working together fully well. We’re now partners.”

 

With this, Miss Chaley Tiu adds by saying:

“I met Hanna from school when she modeled for me”, Chaley said to this blogger. “Since then, we’re working together na. Now, we became business partners na rin. At first, CESA is only women’s wear, but then, me and Hanna decided to expand it.  We launched the men’s line which we now called C-Men. Madali kasing tandaan. It’s doing very well na.”
