having ten insurance policies surely got him there.

Do you agree with Piolo Pascual that Insurance is man’s basic necessity?

I think there is a truth on that, especially if a person is a head of a household slash bread winner. What if something untoward might happen to this person what will happen to his/her dependents?

Although I’m not carrying any huge responsibilities yet but I’d been an insurance policy holder for a quite sometimes now. My Insurance agent doesn’t want to call it as’ insurance’ but he prefers to call it as investment plan. Something I can count on in times of future personal financial crisis. I religiously pay my policy at the end of every quarter and for me having an investment policy of my own give me a sense of security.

In the just concluded launch of the newest TVC of Sun Life Financial, Piolo and the rest of Sun Life celebrity advocates and ambassadors like Pia Magalona, the wife of the late Francis Magalona, TV host and social entrepreneur Bam Aquino and the dela Rosa brothers of Azkals, Anton and Armand, the fresh additions of the lists of the celebrity endorsers of Sun Life, they reveled real experiences of how their lives have become brighter under the sun.

The newest TV Commercial with a theme “Experience Sun life,” highlights the role played by the country’s first and longest standing life insurer in making Filipinos feel good about their lives and more confident about facing their tomorrow.

Piolo disclosed that he has more than ten insurance policies, “I started investing even when I was earning good money as an artista. I would really save up and not put everything in the bank where the tendency is to spend everything since you have such easy access to your money. Instead, I would invest my money in something I knew would help me earn more in the coming years.”

Piolo also shared that he already wanted to start a family. But the question is who among those who were linked to him he wants to spend the rest of his life with? Do you have any idea who?

Pia Magalona, on other hand, being single again is open to the possibility that she will someday meet another person in her life. But right now Pia is busies herself taking care of her eight kids especially her children’s careers and education, and with One Core, a success center she put up that focuses on personal development. She is also in the process of formalizing the Francis Magalona Foundation, something that her husband was planning to put up before he passed away. Pia is an insurance beneficiary when Francis died she said, “It was like the return of an old friend, one who was ready to give support in times of great distress.” On the day of her husband’s demise, her Sun life advisor informed her that she had two checks ready for pick-up.

When Armand del Rosario met a car accident that severely injured his body forced him to retire from the National Team, although he is not in the team Azkals anymore but Armand is nurturing future superstars thru the Kaya Futbol Club, one of the most decorated clubs in the country. His business also includes a healthcare company, dividing time between work, his wife, and three kids. Anton the younger brother chose to finish college before officially carrying the country’s flag.

As the older brother and provider, Armand has secured life insurance policies and mutual funds for his family. He also advises Anton about financial matters. “Once you have a child, life completely changes. If I have a goal in life, it’s to ensure that my kids are financially stable and until that day comes, that they have enough to get by. That’s the main goal I have,” he relates. Eventually, he dreams of traveling the world with his wife.

TV host and social entrepreneur Bam Aquino is said to be practical when it comes to the importance of financial planning. “Money makes the world go round,” he says. “The truth is, your security, and many ways, your happiness and your ability to be able to live your life the way you want to live it, is based on how much you are able to earn, That’s as very basic thing.”
